Meet Jussi Larjo, our Lead Scientist. 25 years of expertise, curiosity and innovation at Oseir.
Over the years, Jussi has built an exceptional depth of knowledge in measurement technology and cold spray diagnostics. His work spans from the design and programming of the solutions to R&D, measurement algorithms and some of our most demanding customer applications around the world.
When a measurement challenge goes beyond the ordinary, Jussi is often the person to turn to. His expertise combines a strong scientific foundation with something that can only be gained over time: extensive hands-on experience of how measurements behave in real processes and demanding environments. And that is still what motivates him.
Jussi particularly enjoys the cases where a new challenging environment, process or application presents a difficult problem to solve – and where his experience can help the customer succeed. Few things bring a bigger smile than being able to say: yes, we can measure this too.
Looking ahead, Jussi hopes to see advanced cold spray diagnostics move increasingly from research labs to production floors. Better real-time process understanding can mean more consistent quality, higher yield and less waste.
Perhaps that is also what Jussi enjoys most about working at Oseir: being able to follow the whole journey from an idea and engineering to a finished solution that helps a customer succeed. After 25 years, the curiosity is clearly still there. And when he’s not thinking about measurements, Finnish summers are best spent on water (on a boat) with his family. ⛵
